Collections Specialist - Dover

We are seeking a Collections Specialist for our operations based in Wilmington, Delaware. Your primary role will be handling collection processes, attending to customer service queries, and working in a dynamic call center environment. Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle collection processes and billing functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume call center environment.
• Process and evaluate credit applications of customers.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action based on their status.
• Collaborate with the team to improve collector processes and strategies.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with billing functions and collection processes
• Experience as a collector in a detail oriented setting
• Understanding of credit systems and related processes
• Exceptional customer service skills, with experience in a call center environment
• Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and disputes
• Proven track record of maintaining detail orientation and patience when dealing with challenging situations or difficult customers.
