KO538 - Full-Time Housekeeper/Laundress - Upper East Side, NY

Overview:

Flexibility to stay later on occasion, especially Fridays, is important. The family does spend some weeks in the Hampton's and you will be required to join.

Responsibilities:

• The role will consist of all housekeeping, laundress and some house management responsibilities
• Help with Shabat dinner on Friday
• Work nicely around kids who are currently 8 and 4 years old
• Fully complete the job and key responsibilities daily
• This is a very clean home, the principals are OCD and are looking for someone who matches that energy
• Pro-actively organize toys and closets
• Sort and care for high-end laundry- must be a wonderful Laundress
• Work with vendors, workers, doormen- communicate with all parties
• Keep an inventory of all household supplies so the principal can place orders
• Answer telephones and relay messages

Qualifications:

• The family is looking for a true professional who takes pride in their work
• A positive, inviting, and respectful individual will do well here
• Ideally, someone who has experience in high-end homes
• Extremely trustworthy and reliable
• Works well with a team and around two children ages 8 and 4

Requirements:

• Meticulous and very organized
• Exceptional Laundress
• Ability to stay in the Hampton's 4 nights per week during the Summer
• Child friendly
• Ability to work well with other staff in the home- no gossip will be tolerated in this home
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in a kosher home

Salary and Benefits:

• $40+ per hour
• $250/month for health stipend
