This partnership not only allows us to expand our footprint, but it also allows us to work with industry leaders who strive for same level of excellence as we do.This continued success throughout the Northeast has created a need for a Master Electrician to work out of the Lewiston, ME territory.
Here's a glimpse of some of the responsibilities if you are interested in joining our team:
- Lead and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions to resolve electrical problems.
- Supervise and mentor junior electricians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including electrical schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and project managers to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring quality standards and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- Valid Master Electrician license in Maine.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) working as a journeyman or master electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience in managing electrical projects and supervising a team of electricians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in the use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety gear.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions (indoors, outdoors, heights, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
