3rd Key Associate-Hourly
Position Summary:
The 3^rd Key Associate works with the Retail Store Management team to aid in the direction of the retail staff and day-to-day operations of the FOTL Brand Shop Outlet. Assist in the merchandising of all retail product and daily sales activities.Additional responsibilities include the protection of company assets, namely, physical inventory, cash, and physical store property. Serve as a lead salesperson on sales floor.
Specific Responsibilities:
When appropriate, serve as the lead salesperson on the floor, utilizing proven soft-sell tactics to help the store meet all financial goals. Set positive sales and service example for the team by assisting customers, providing information and answering questions.
Perform Opening and Closing duties as directed by store management team. When acting as the manager on duty, assign tasks to employees, confirm completion of assigned duties, and ensure the store runs in a smooth manner, reporting any issues to the management team as needed.
Works closely alongside the Assistant Manager to ensure product is received, stocked and displayed on the floor in a timely fashion. Ensures products are presented to optimize sales with styles/colors arranged by size and evenly spaced / neatly folded with hang tags properly attached.When tasked with the daily closing of the store, complete a final store check with all presentation issues being rectified before completing store reconciliation.
Assists store management in the execution of all initiatives to drive sales and profitability as it relates to products, promotions, merchandising, and customer service.
Ensure routine cleaning duties are properly executed by staff and that the store’s interior and exterior are in excellent condition at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree required
- Strong sales and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of retail practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Maintain high quality of customer service
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
Minimum Job Experience Required:
- 2 years of retail sales experience required; apparel retail management preferred.
