Clinical Social Worker III (LCSW) - Behavioral Health (Bronx)
- based flagship location El Nuevo San Juan Community Health Center.
As the LCSW, you will utilize evidence-based approaches to provide quality individual therapy to our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:-Master's Degree in Social Work required.
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, strongly preferred
Key Duties:-Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.-Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children and/or adults and families.
-Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and making changes.-Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
- Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
- Provides consultation to medical providers.
- Participates in clinical team meetings.
Starting Compensation: Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:Onsite, Bronx, NY, 5 Shifts per week between Monday and Saturday operating hours including 8:00am-5:00 pm, 9:00 am- 6:00 pm and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
