Senior Electrical Design Engineer

How You"ll Make an Impact

• Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, security, television, telephone, and communications systems.
• Develop appropriate system concepts, perform calculations, layout, sizing, selections, and specifications, in coordination with other disciplines.
• Act as lead engineer on specific projects, manage and mentor junior level department engineers and designers in developing contract drawings, cost estimates, technical specifications, and other relevant documents.Perform site visits of
• Existing electrical systems to evaluate or inspect work in progress/completed.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate/meet with project teams, senior staff members, project managers, clients, and other parties.
• Occasional travel to project sites is required, may include overseas travel.
