Patient Access Representative - Behavioral Health - Full-time

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide exceptional support to patients and ensure smooth and efficient front desk operations. Responsibilities include patient check-in and check-out, collecting and verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and ensuring that patients have a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., based in Quincy, IL. Schedule may vary slightly based on departmental needs.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional customer service skills to make every patient feel welcome and supported. Strong attention to detail is essential for accurately handling patient information and appointment scheduling. Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with patients, providers, and team members effectively.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while staying organized and calm is key. While previous experience in a healthcare or front desk setting is preferred, it is not required. A high school diploma or GED is required.
