Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional assistance in both English and Spanish.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, answer inquiries, and provide information about clinic services.
• Assist patients with registration, paperwork, and insurance verification.
• Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate department, and resolve patient concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic's database, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Support billing inquiries by explaining charges, processing payments, and assisting with insurance-related issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient experiences.
• Uphold a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with scheduling and patient management software (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
