Overview:

The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving mechanical and electrical components, equipment, products, machinery, and/or systems. This candidate needs to be familiar with various routines and procedures for the maintenance and repair of facilities and machinery.

They must work without supervision, safely perform basic repairs on machinery, mechanical, electrical, or mechanical equipment in compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed throughout all maintenance operations and activities
  • Ensure that behaviors, practices, and the work environment support a safe workplace through training, LOTO, hot work, confined space, etc.
  • Provide direction, expertise, and work execution for all maintenance trainees that may be assigned to learn and develop
  • Provide specific recommendations for Mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance plan improvements based on performance, and observations
  • Completed assigned Preventative Maintenance Activities
  • Coordinates supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and develop solutions
  • Preforms advanced- levels of reactive and proactive planned maintenance as directed

Qualifications:

  • High School education required with some college preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing Mechanical and electrical experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and instrumentation knowledge
  • Demonstrates understanding of mechanical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems etc.
  • Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment
  • Ability to keep track of projects, timelines, and report on activity
  • Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates organizational and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrate time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Must have proven mechanical and or electrical skills
