We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Richmond, Virginia. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be instrumental in assisting the event planner and the marketing manager, and your responsibilities will include scheduling, event coordination, data entry, and facilitating communication between departments.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate effective interdepartmental communication
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and events
- Assist with event planning and execution
- Manage data entry tasks with accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service through inbound and outbound calls
- Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for various administrative tasks
- Answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries efficiently • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in answering inbound and making outbound calls
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience
- Data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in handling email correspondence effectively and professionally
- Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
- Experience in coordinating events and handling logistics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
