Job Description:
Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Finisher Helper for our facility located in Farrell, PA. Production Workers operate process equipment, produce, and package product, and perform other tasks essential to our production operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with hand and/or power equipment
- Running any/all machinery
- Material handling
- Ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
- Operating Mobile Equipment
- Operating packing and banding equipment
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1+ years industrial experience strongly preferred
- Good work history
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism
- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Ability to pass drug/physical/background check
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
- Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
- Must be able to lift 60lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours
- Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment
- Other physical requirements as needed for job
