Overview:
Overnight Cooks produce prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes for the deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations overnight. They provide excellent customer service when needed.

Comp Details:Starting Wage Range: $20.22 - $20.42/hour, depending on experience. Full Wage Range: $20.22 - $26.15/hour. Additional $1.25/hour Night Differential when applicable.

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Produces prepared deli items and baked goods in accordance with PCC recipes
- Responsible for quality control to ensure consistently high quality product
- Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Follows department safe food handling procedures
- Follows department merchandising standards and procedures
- Performs packaging duties
- May be in charge of production tasks
- May oversee other kitchen staff as assigned
- Participates in recipe development and recipe costing
- May perform ordering responsibilities
- Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
Qualifications and Skills:
- Available to work the overnight shift, including weekends
- At least 2+ years previous production cooking experience required
- Able to work in a fast pace kitchen environment
- Familiarity with specialty and prepared foods
- Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
