About the job

As a strategic Senior HR Business Partner, you will support the Global Customer Advisory Organization, providing strategic HR guidance and leadership to align people practices with business objectives. You will partner closely with senior business leaders to drive talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning that enables the organization’s global growth and success.

This role will involve a deep understanding of a technical sales engineering function and the unique challenges faced in a global high-paced, highly technical, and customer focused environment.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Work closely global leaders to foster a high-performance culture and ensure employee engagement and retention.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to design and implement global organizational structures that optimize efficiency, agility and effectiveness in the Customer Advisory team.
  • Cover all major HR functional areas (workforce planning, organizational design, compensation, performance management, employe relations) and identify where HR contributions can positively impact business strategies.
  • Initiate the development of relevant action plans; facilitate conflict-resolution at all levels; consult with managers and employees; and advise on performance management and employee relations situations.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to provide insight into workforce trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Partner with HR COEs on talent attraction and interviewing; compensation analysis and activities; and training and development.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including experience as Global HR Partner supporting complex global teams (experience supporting sales engineering or a technology function )
  • Proven experience partnering with senior global leaders in a strategic capacity and influencing business outcomes through effective people strategies.
  • Demonstrated HR experience involving client support in the following areas: employee relations, recruitment, compensation, policy interpretation, change management activities, management training, and performance management

  • Ability to respond appropriately in a fluid environment and to maintain flexibility when strategies change
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to participate in and contribute to various business decisions
  • Ability to operate as a team player juggling multiple priorities while employing strong consultative and influencing skills
  • Ability to create innovative solutions to complex business problems
  • A proven track record in the areas of aligning HR programs with business strategies and applying information technology to HR initiatives
  • PHR/SPHR/GPHR certification
  • Experience using Workday
