Job Description
Role will report directly to the General Counsel and will handle the following:
- Primary support for CLO deal team on approved transactions (manage external counsel, etc) and on RMBS transactions, some review of diligence files
- Review term sheets & offering documents, note purchase agreements, placement agreements on transactions (144 A deals)
- Advise the treasury function on all legal matters
- Track regulatory developments/litigation/new legal issues having an effect on mortgage business
- JD from top law school with excellent academic credentials and GPA
- Admitted to NY State Bar
- 5+ years of experience, gained at a top law firm, handling financial services CLOs, securitizations and RMBS mortgage transactions
