Mental Health Technician

As a Mental Health Technician at HealingUS Centers, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes recovery and growth.
You will work closely with clients, assisting them with their daily activities and ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support and guidance during therapy sessions and group activities.
- Monitoring client behavior and reporting any changes to the clinical staff.
- Assisting clients with personal care and daily living tasks.
- Implementing treatment plans as directed by mental health professionals.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Facilitating communication between clients and the treatment team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in psychology or related fields is preferred.
- Previous experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Compassion and empathy for individuals struggling with mental health issues.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and respond effectively to crises.
