Quality Engineer
A Quality Engineer is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Windsor Locks, CT area. The Quality Engineer will provide technical guidance to foster relationships with operations teams and suppliers, manage compliance and quality issues, and drive timely resolutions through effective root cause analysis and collaboration on investigations.

salary: $21.38 - 25.75 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Ensure effectiveness of root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA).
- Drive timely resolution and closure of issues.
- Reviewing and interpreting procedures and policies.
- Analyze hardware and assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues.
- Determine proper disposition of nonconforming material while participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical concentration or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of relevant experience (work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
