We are in the market for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in WADSWORTH, Ohio. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

• Efficiently process customer credit applications with a high level of accuracy.
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and organized.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the accounts payable process.
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for all tasks.
• Ensure all account coding is accurate and up-to-date.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Great Plains Accounting for handling invoices and other related tasks.
• Adhere to company standards and procedures in all tasks.
• Continuously improve the accounts payable process through automation and other means. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar financial position.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems to manage and maintain financial data.
• Demonstrable skills in Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Account Coding, ensuring accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and financial modeling.
• Experience with the Microsoft Great Plains Accounting system is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and effective correspondence with vendors and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
