Logistics Coordinator

We are actively searching for a Logistics Coordinator to be a part of our team based in Torrance, California. This role is in the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on import and export tasks. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition from a contract to a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage import and export operations in a time-efficient manner.
• Utilize business systems and ERPs to track, document, and manage cargo.
• Employ Cargowise and other ERP solutions for efficient logistics coordination.
• Maintain accurate billing functions and ensure timely client invoicing.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all client needs are met and exceeded.
• Handle customs procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary.
• Utilize 'About Time' to optimize workflow and enhance productivity. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in business systems and ERP solutions
• Experience with software such as Cargowise and About Time
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to handle billing functions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations
• CRM experience is a plus
