In NEW YORK, NY (*Fully Remote* Role): Our client - leading, independent provider of risk and financial advisory solutions, leveraging data and technology to their end clients stay ahead of complex demands - is in search of a meticulous and knowledgeable Data Privacy Analyst Consultant to be part of their team on a project basis.
As an integral team member, this consultant would tasked with managing various aspects of data subject requests under GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy laws.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- End-to-end management of Data Subject Requests
- Overview of GDPR CCPA or other global privacy laws issues:
- Processing client employee or third party request in accordance with firm policies and applicable laws
- Tracking and logging of all requests on the workflow system and ensuring requests are completed within firm and regulatory timelines.
- Utilizing various firm systems and liaising with business stakeholders including HR in order to gather all relevant personal data.
- Reviewing and assessing personal data content identifying and redacting privileged confidential and non-personal data and applying relevant GDPR and member state law and codes
- Respond to data subject and third-party queries or complaints that come into the privacy team mailbox.
- Review and assess privacy controls for potential vendors and ensure appropriate contractual arrangements are in place

REQUIRED / IDEAL SKILLSET- Understanding of CCPA/CPRA and other US privacy laws GDPR and other applicable global privacy laws
- Minimum 2-3 years in a legal compliance risk audit or similar function
- Experience working in a large organization with complex infrastructures and technological environments
- SharePoint experience a plus. Relativity or similar experience a plus. CIPM and/or CIPP/E certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in reviewing privacy-related contractual arrangements and data processing addendums
- Experience in tracking cross border data transfers and conducting transfer impact assessments a plus
- Experience with OneTrust and current active certificates from OneTrust
