Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development
  • Strategically develop and execute sales plans to drive commercial vehicle sales within your assigned territory.
  • Identify and target a diverse range of potential customers, including businesses, contractors, and mid-sized fleet owners.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities into results.
  • Partner with the RVP of Public Sector Sales and marketing teams to design and implement impactful promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Deliver hands-on product demonstrations, including transporting vehicles to customer sites, conducting walk-arounds, and showcasing on-the-job performance.
Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with customers, dealers, and industry leaders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely responses and top-notch service.
  • Regularly host meetings, product demonstrations, and training sessions to foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
Sales Performance and Reporting
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and objectives, achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Leverage tools like HubSpot CRM to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and monitor progress.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback to uncover new growth opportunities and refine strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of proven success in B2B territory sales, ideally within the commercial vehicle industry; experience in similar industries will also be considered.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and expand a successful sales territory.
  • Knowledge of—or eagerness to learn about—commercial vehicles, market trends, and industry regulations.
  • Preferred experience in selling to public sector clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven negotiation and closing expertise, with a focus on fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, the Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Skilled in using MS Teams and Zoom for internal and external remote meetings.
  • Valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel extensively within your territory for face-to-face client interactions.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and navigate office environments, including small or confined spaces.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

Pay Range: $60,000 to $80,000
