Sterilization Technician
Overview:
Pay: $17 - $18/ hour

This is a great entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in a career in health care or working in a dental office. As a sterilization technician, you will be a part of our back office team responsible for sterilizing instruments, equipment, and rooms.No prior experience is needed as training will be provided on the job!
Location: Howell, NJ
Schedule: 7:45 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work areas for treatments and procedures
- Disinfect and sterilize tools, equipment, chairs, counters, and surfaces, using sterilizers, aerators, or washers
- Check sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdated
- Deliver tools to specified locations in the office
- Maintain records of inventory or tool usage and relay information to the office manager to replenish supplies when inventory is low
- Stock dental supplies
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, team player
- Ability to pass pre-employment background clearances required to work with pediatric patients
