Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper located in Santa Ana, California. This role plays a vital part in maintaining financial records within our organization and ensures timely transaction processing.

• Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Generate, send out, and monitor customer invoices and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, adhering to federal, state, and prevailing wage regulations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in preparing certified payroll reports as required by governmental agencies.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws for applicable projects, including tracking and reporting of prevailing wage hours.
• Collaborate with project managers for accurate tracking of project-related expenses.
• Offer administrative support and perform other accounting tasks as needed.
• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Utilize various accounting software systems including Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Great Plains for efficient processing and record keeping. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Capable of managing a Computerized Accounting System
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget
• Skilled in Cash Flow Analysis
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
