Sr. Litigation Associate

We are in search of a Senior Litigation Associate to join our team located in Wilmington, Delaware. The role revolves around defense litigation, primarily focusing on Delaware Chancery Court matters. As a Litigation Associate, you will be handling complex litigation cases, providing strategic counsel to businesses and individuals, and fostering the development of entry level attorneys.

• Handling complex litigation cases, including corporate governance disputes, business torts, and contractual claims.
• Representing clients in Delaware Chancery Court and other state and federal courts.
• Ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures while developing and executing case strategies.
• Collaborating with clients, partners, and team members to provide excellent legal counsel and service.
• Directing all phases of litigation, from pleadings, discovery, and motions to trials and appeals.
• Fostering a positive and productive work environment by guiding and mentoring entry level attorneys.
• Utilizing your strong defense litigation background in corporate and commercial disputes.
• Applying your exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills in day-to-day tasks.
• Leveraging your strong leadership and organizational abilities to manage complex litigation cases and work independently.
• Possession of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, specifically in litigation.
• Active membership in the Bar Association is necessary.
• Admission to the Delaware State Bar is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Commercial Litigation.
• Prior experience with Civil Court cases is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Bankruptcy Law is a significant plus.
• Competency in Business & Commercial Law is essential.
• Knowledge of Corporate & Commercial practices and regulations is required.
• Experience in Civil Litigation is a must.
