Job Description:
The position of Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides tremendous entry-level experience for individuals pursuing professional careers in the human services field. The role is a truly rewarding experience for those who enjoy helping children/ adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We incorporate principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to develop skills and reduce challenging behaviors. This part-time role requires travel to service clients in Bucks County and Philadelphia County. Please submit your resume to recruiter@mccfamilyservices.com

Job Requirements:

  • Have a certification as a BCaBA; or as an RBT; or as a BCAT.
  • OR have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA. (we provide RBT training).
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination; or Medical Exemption; or Religious Exemption.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and be able to pass a drug screen, criminal background, FBI, NSOR, and Child Abuse clearances.

As a BHT/RBT, you will:

  • Implement specific interventions as directed in the treatment and/or behavior plan.
  • Provide therapeutic activities and interventions that target the individual childs treatment goals.
  • Model, teach, and transfer skills to natural supports and caregivers, as well as to the child, to promote functional independence.
  • Complete written documentation of your sessions, detailing your interventions, efforts toward skills transfer, and the response of the client and natural supports.
  • Collect data to determine treatment progress.
  • Provide behavioral and emotional support to the client.
  • Utilize crisis intervention techniques.
  • Attend mandatory supervision meetings, and training opportunities at our Bensalem office, in accordance with state requirements and regulations.
  • Act as a mandated reporter under the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law.

Productivity Bonus:

  • Work 45 Billable Hours in a Pay Period - Earn an additional $100
  • Work 65 Billable Hours in a Pay Period - Earn an additional $200

Starting Rates:

  • $16.50/hour: High School Diploma.
  • $17.50/hour: High School Diploma and RBT Training/Certification Complete.
  • $18.50/hour: Bachelors Degree.
  • $19.50/hour: Bachelors degree and RBT Training/Certification Complete.
  • $20/hour: Bachelors Degree, RBT Training/Certification Complete/Pass RBT Exam.
  • Nonbillable: $15/hour.

Work Setting:

  • Camps.
