interim Accounts Payable Manager

Experience with Workday Accounts Payable is required. Hybrid work schedule in Coppell, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing and coding of invoices received from various stores
• Implement new ERP system to streamline the accounts payable process
• Maintain regular communication with store management regarding invoice receiving
• Ensure the timely and accurate entry of data
• Monitor and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all purchases have been recorded correctly
• Conduct audits of pcards on a monthly basis and liaise with stores and Corporate Cards regarding missing receipts
• Supervise the process for more frequent inventory counts
• Manage the turnover data entry and statement reconciliations
• Maintain and analyze vendor invoices and general ledger entries
• Oversee day-to-day management operations within the accounts payable department.
• Experience with AP in Workday in required (non negotiable)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as an Accounts Payable Manager
• Ability to oversee day-to-day management of the accounts payable department
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
