JOB TITLE: Clerk, Shipping & Receiving
The primary responsibility of the Shipping/Receiving Clerk is to assist in receiving, organizing and shipping of The North Face and Jansport products.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Unload and load shipments of products at the receiving area. Scan incoming/outgoing packages to import data into tracking system (AS400). Use of Pitney Bowes System (USPS shipping software). Sort packages according to brand (TNF/JSP) Moderate use of forklift and pallet jack.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3 years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in shipping/receiving preferred but not required (on the job training provided).
- Basic computer skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style.
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational skills
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
- Constant movement - push/pull
- Standing, kneeling and/or bending, lifting up to 50lbs of weight
Hiring Range:
$13.14 USD - $16.43 USD per hour
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
