Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a financial industry leader, needs a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to identify issues with systems, applications, software, and hardware, and contribute to solutions development while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and policies.
We cannot facilitate c2c contractors for this opportunity. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:
- Perform basic production support tasks
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Maintain and may lead process for documenting design, build, and standard operating procedures
- Develop detailed project plans and track project progress
- Work with development, QA, and business teams to understand infrastructure needs
- Help implement change to organization's infrastructure technology with the goal of enhancing its reliability, resiliency, and efficiency
Requirements of the Infrastructure Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or 5+ years of equivalent work experience required
- Several years of related experience preferred
- Experience in securities or financial services a plus
