We are in search of a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team located in Richardson, Texas. This role serves as a critical point of contact for our customers and sales team, providing information about our products and resources. The selected candidate will also be responsible for order management, responding to inquiries, and maintaining an ongoing relationship with customers and other internal teams.

This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or fax, providing accurate information about our products, pricing, availability, and order tracking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring clear and concise communication, and meeting delivery timelines.
  • Proactively communicate any delivery issues to customers, sales agencies, and other team members.
  • Assist customers in navigating our website and using our resources.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell products based on customer needs.
  • Enter and process orders received via various channels.
  • Track order activity and alert appropriate team members of any potential delivery problems.
  • Expedite delivery of selected orders as needed.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all company products, brands, and processes.
  • Support committed accounts and sister-companies to ensure exceptional service and resolve any issues.
  • Follow established procedures to complete work and achieve performance objectives.
  • Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace.

  • Use skills in Purchase Orders and Customer Service to ensure efficient and effective customer experience. • Proven experience in a customer service role
  • Familiarity with processing purchase orders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on feet
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and CRM systems
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of customer service techniques
  • High level of patience when dealing with customer complaints
  • Willingness to learn about and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate customers in different time zones
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
