Bookkeeper

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper near Ridgefield Park, NJ. This role involves undertaking account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Undertake bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are recorded
• Perform data entry tasks to keep records up-to-date
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial management and reporting
• Conduct month-end close processes to finalize financial activities
• Manage payroll activities to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for audit purposes.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Must be able to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Strong Bookkeeping skills are a must
• Should have good Data Entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary
• Must have experience in Payroll processing
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential
