Akima Support Operations (ASO) is looking for a Site Manager to work in Camp LeJune, NC. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administrative matters to include: Development and implementation of SOP’s, ISO quality performance and document control, Time Sheet Approvals, Files management, CDRL review and submission, and Administration of certification, licensing and training documentation.
- Ensures proper security procedures are complied with to include Key and Lock inventory and control, Security construction statements in each storage location, escorting personnel requiring access to the warehouse not on approved access rosters and daily security of all building, offices and equipment. Plans and organizes the storage plans of each warehouse, storeroom and bay.
- Supervises the proper receipt, inspection, issue and warehousing of all Air Force assets (equipment, repairable, and expendables).
- Establishes an aggressive program to ensure material handling techniques are in compliance with applicable warehousing procedures and safety practices.
- Provides technical assistance to other site storage activities to ensure items are stored in accordance with Air Force technical orders, manuals and directives.
- Manages the resale of excess and/or scrap items disposed of locally. Operates a Defense Logistics Agency-Disposal Service (DLA-DS) function.
- Develops standards for subordinates. Implements the precepts of quality assurance within the guidelines set forth in the ISO 9001 program. Ensures that all work is completed to this quality standard and provides employees with feedback on their progress.
- Manages the Hazardous Materials Storage Area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate concisely and accurately in technical matters.
Responsible for Personnel Management to include Work assignments, Counseling and other administrative functions.
Qualifications:
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.
- Associates degree and five years or more experience in developing, managing, implementing, and operating a warehouse or distribution center. At least three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity. Additionally, experience in a managerial position related to CLS and supply chain management support in their respective management function, to include experience working in a DoD environment
