Internal Auditor - El Segundo

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Internal Auditor role in the Retail industry, based in El Segundo, California. This position will involve a range of auditing tasks, including conducting audit procedures, assisting in quarterly reviews, and documenting process flows.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the auditing team in conducting interim and year-end audit procedures.
• Undertaking audit procedures and testing processes for operational review audits.
• Providing support in the management’s quarterly SOX 302 certification process.
• Conducting interviews with management for SOX and operational reviews.
• Utilizing accounting software systems and business systems in daily tasks.
• Carrying out accurate documentation of process flows for SOX and operational reviews.
• Identifying and reporting audit findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner.
• Developing recommendations based on the audit findings and presenting them to the team.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Audit Program is essential for this role.
• Understanding and knowledge of Business systems is a must.
• Proficiency in using CobiT is necessary for this position.
• Experience in handling Accounting Functions will be highly valued.
• Ability to effectively communicate Audit Findings is crucial.
• Strong background in Auditing is required.
• Experience in formulating and executing Audit Plans is necessary.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne will be an advantage.
