How you’ll make an impact:
With a passion for the Unwell brand, you’ll assist with the channel operations and running of Unwell’s entertainment talk channel. You’ll work on systems and scheduling to deliver and package the shows and content into a must-listen 24/7 channel.
What you’ll do:
- Work with the producers and team at Unwell to collaborate on channel imaging, show files, podcast content and more to create a first-class on-air product
- Thoughtfully schedule Call Her Daddy and other Unwell network podcast episodes by listening through to episodes, taking notes, flagging content to be edited, remove mid-roll breaks and ingest into the channel’s playout system
- Assist in maintaining a database of program content for archival use
- Assist Unwell producers with On Demand, promo loading and scheduling
- Ingest content into channel logs on a weekly and daily basis
- Work closely with Director of Programming to QC daily channel logs
- Perform other duties as required
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in audio (preferably with radio playout and scheduling systems)
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional broadcast environment (Radio/TV/Digital)
- Flexible schedule with ability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be organized, detail obsessed and able to work both independently and in a team environment
- A willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects with little oversight
- Previous use of broadcast operation software (Zetta, Prophet, Dalet, NexGen, etc.)
- Rock solid experience with digital audio editing software (Audition, ProTools, etc)
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
