Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Executive Assistant to the VP/GM and works independently performing a wide range of duties as well as supporting the GTS Team. Non - Exempt role based in Orlando, FL .

Job Description:

  • Able to use organizational skills to collaborate with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Confidentiality is a key component to this role.

Meets and greets visitors to the office and directs them to the appropriate area while following facility and security protocol.

Answer the V2X main line and transfer calls; checks mail, receive shipments, and distributes to the appropriate receivers.

Issues, tracks, and maintains visitor badges as a responsibility to Facilities and Security.

Provide administrative support, including coordination of conference rooms and compliance with security protocols, trade compliance, and ethics requirements required for meetings, audiovisual requirements. Provide administrative support to Executive Team including booking travel and expense reporting.

Provide backup support to Executive Assistant when requested to include catering orders, meeting setup, scheduling, and various administrative tasks.

Various duties assigned in relation to general administrative requests from GTS Team including assisting with booking travel and expense reporting.

Successfully manage independent projects to fruition on an as-needed basis, meeting deadlines.

Work quickly and efficiently; remain flexible to shifting

Time Allocation:

Required in office five days a week. Desk should be covered from 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday with a lunch break.

Skills & Qualifications:

Work Environment:

Works in a general office environment. This position is not remote.

Office working environment requires a balance of prolonged sitting, extensive keyboard, and computer operation while also assisting with meetings and events, restocking supplies, and moving boxes. Ability to lift 28 pounds.
