Bookkeeper - Newton

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Newton, Massachusetts. As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our financial records are accurate and well-organized. Your duties will encompass a range of accounting and payroll tasks, interacting with various stakeholders, and maintaining human resources files.

• Handle data entry tasks and maintain the integrity of our accounting information by accurately recording transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly processed.
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial records are accurate.
• Utilize QuickBooks efficiently for bookkeeping processes.
• Manage payroll activities, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Ensure all month end close processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data.
• Maintain organized human resources files and handle HR related forms.
• Communicate effectively with tenants and other stakeholders as necessary. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures
• Ability to perform accurate Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrable skills in Bookkeeping
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close operations
• Ability to manage and process Payroll
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
