We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Financial Services industry, situated in Reno, Nevada. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing first-line customer service, handling administrative duties, and maintaining accurate records, thereby ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the company switchboard, answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate parties.
  • Greet customers, vendors, job applicants, and other visitors professionally and promptly, providing a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Perform administrative support tasks such as typing, filing, copying, and coordinating calendars to ensure efficient operations.
  • Sort and route mail, correspondence, packages, and messages to ensure timely delivery to appropriate parties.
  • Organize meetings and coordinate catering to facilitate seamless internal and external communication.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to manage data entry and email correspondence.
  • Leverage interpersonal skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members effectively.
  • Schedule appointments, ensuring optimal time management within the organization.
  • Organize files and maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring data integrity.
  • Follow clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities, contributing to the organization's operational efficiency. • Minimum of one year experience in a receptionist role within the Financial Services industry
  • Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Experience in data entry tasks
  • Ability to handle email correspondence effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience in organizing files and maintaining a neat workspace
  • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively.
