Responsibilities:

Coordinates and monitors all Mailroom Services, including the sorting of posted mail, operation of Mailroom equipment, handling/delivery of interdepartmental mail and specimens, etc.
Responsible for receiving, sorting and routing U.S. Mail, inter-departmental mail, RHCS correspondence and packages/deliveries to appropriate Departments, Patients and Employees. Ensure patient confidentiality. Complete logs and paperwork as specified.

Responsible for assisting personnel as requested or assigned. Perform messenger duties. Operate equipment needed to perform duties of mailroom.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to perform multiple tasks and duties on a daily basis. Must be able to assess needs of customer base. Basic mathematics skills, responsible for tendering monies for mailings and postage. Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Ability to follow direction and work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
