The Medical laboratory scientist generalist works closely and with the advice of a Laboratory Technologist in the performance of diagnostic procedures. Procedures are performed as efficiently and expeditiously as possible. Laboratory Technicians may exercise limited independent judgment and work under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor or Director.This is a part time, varies shift position.
Qualifications:
Education- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Associates degree in MLT or related field (Required)
- Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure
- Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
