Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to hire a Certified Dental Assistant in New Brunswick, NJ.
Type: Temp to perm
Shift - Mon & Wed 7:30 – 5 pm,Tues & Thur – 10:30 – 7 pm, Friday 7:30 – 1 pmThe anticipated wage for this position is between $23/hr. - 25/hr.
Certification/licenses: CDA and X-ray license
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers.
- Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment.
- Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients.
- Operates suction equipment.
- Mixes endodontic and restorative materials.
- Maintains all dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations.
- Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images.
- Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization. Restocks endodontic kits with proper instruments and materials.
- Assists supervisor in ordering and maintaining clinical supplies.
- Understands and adheres to client's compliance standards as they appear in client's corporate compliance policy, code of conduct and conflict of interest policy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education AND/OR Experience required: Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant Program
Certification as a Dental Assistant in the state of NJValid dental radiologic technology license issued by NJ Department of Environmental Protection
CPR certified
