Due to our continued growth, we are seeing a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic MEP team in our Boston, MA office.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities- Field survey of existing mechanical systems
- Design of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and health-care facilities
- Preparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and details
- Approval of mechanical submittals and aid in RFI responses during construction administration
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years' experience
- Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from project manager and produce the expected results
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to work on several projects at once
- Experienced in engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD) required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively collaborate during the design and construction process
