Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply analytic methodologies and principles, including data mining, text analytics, business intelligence, modeling data, qualitative, quantitative, and data visualization, in support of ongoing initiatives.
- Have data analysis experience and assist in the application of analytic techniques and provide recommendations for objective and strategic direction.
- Assist in resolving complex problems which require in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles.
- Assist in analyzing acquisition data and formulate recommendations.
- Design and develop materials, evaluating the effectiveness in accordance with stated Guidelines, Directives, Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, and models.
- Assist in conducting research, data gathering and technical reviews. Produce written deliverables to include reports, spreadsheets, databases, formal process, mapping, technical design and system testing and implementation activities.
- Utilize MS Office products, including Project
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years in data analysis/visualization
- Experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles, including data mining, text analytics, business intelligence, modeling data, qualitative, quantitative, and data visualization, in support of ongoing initiatives.
- Have demonstrable data analysis experience and assist in the application of analytic techniques and provide recommendations for objective and strategic direction.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and effectively solve problems
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
- Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications
Preferred:
- Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation is a significant plus.
- Previous work formulating or executing CBP budgets.
- Relevant certification(s) such as: CGFM, CDFM, PMP, CFCM, and / or CPCM
