You will leverage your deep understanding of the DoD and Navy requirements to develop winning strategies and lead capture efforts for high-value contracts.

Responsibilities- Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute capture plans specifically tailored to the needs of the DoD and Navy, focusing on new business opportunities that align with Aretums capabilities.
- Client and Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key defense stakeholders, industry partners, and military officials to facilitate strategic alliances and win new contracts.
- Market and Competitive Insight: Perform thorough market analysis and strategic outreach to position Aretum as a preferred partner in defense contracts, particularly with the Navy and broader DoD community.
- Proposal Lifecycle Acumen: Utilize a comprehensive understanding of the proposal process to contribute strategically to bid decisions and capture planning, ensuring alignment with military standards and expectations.
- Leadership in Business Initiatives: Directly lead initiatives to penetrate new markets within the defense sector, ensuring that strategic goals are met and new opportunities are effectively pursued.
- Experience: 4-10 years of proven track record in defense capture management, with specific expertise in identifying, qualifying, and winning new business within the DoD and Navy.
- Capture Management Expertise: Deep understanding of the capture process tailored to defense contracting, including team formation, strategic negotiations, and understanding of military procurement processes.
- Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, with relevance to defense contracting.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Clearance: Active secret clearance required.
