Experienced Accounting Clerk – Milford DE
We are looking for an Accounting professional to join our Accounting Team at i.g. Burton Auto Group. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing deals, maintaining schedules, receipting payments and general bookkeeping duties. To be successful, the ideal candidate should be able to learn at a fast pace and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process deals on a daily basis, verifying that all required documents are included
- Accounts Receivable
- Verify gross profit and calculate commissions
- Track contract fundings
- Maintain accounting schedules such as inventory, rebates and dealer reserves
- Receipt payments from customers, monitor aging and collect past due accounts
- Receipt all payments from insurance companies for body shop repairs
- Print and send account receivable statements
- Maintain account schedules such as warranty receivables and body shop
- Post daily warranty memos and prepare and post journal entries as needed
- Basic reconciling
- Accurate and fast data input to the general ledger, such as new vehicle invoices
- Create and maintain basic spreadsheets
Qualifications:
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
Analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast- paced environment
