8:00a – 4:30p / Full Time / 40 Hours
The equipment operations supervisor is responsible for managing the equipment, supplies and medical gases (oxygen, air, helium, dlco) in the respiratory and pulmonary lab departmental areas. Responsible to procure equipment as needed and will coordinate product evaluations, annual inventory, vendor meetings, and will utilize their clinical expertise to make recommendations for the campus.Role model of the Emory Behavioral Standards and the Emory Service Culture Guidelines. Provides Patient and Family Centered Care and will directly supervise the equipment technicians.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s degree in respiratory care or related science required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Currently licensed as an active Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Georgia.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Active membership in American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) BLS and ACLS Required.
