Job Description- Lead and mentor a team of quality control personnel, including inspectors and technicians.
- Oversee quality control processes, such as inspections, tests, and audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate measurement and verification activities in alignment with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance quality systems, focusing on document management and addressing non-conformances.
- Train and support quality inspectors and technicians, providing expertise on quality-related issues.
- Track and report on quality metrics to inform stakeholders of performance levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve quality challenges.
- Collaborate on new product development initiatives, contributing to the establishment of quality standards.
- Utilize various measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, CMMs) to support quality engineering and production needs.

The Successful Applicant- Self-driven and capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
- Practical experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems, particularly in ITAR-regulated settings.
- Familiarity with AIAG PPAP processes and related documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience with formal root cause analysis (8D).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software (e.g., Mini-Tab).
- Knowledge of statistical process control and related techniques.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years in a quality support role, preferably within the metals manufacturing industry.
- ASQ CQT (Certified Quality Technician) certification is preferred.
- Compensation up to $90,000
