Job Description

The Supplier Quality Engineer, Industrial Manufacturing will:

  • Oversee incoming product quality, ensuring materials meet specifications before production.
  • Identify, investigate, and address non-conformances with suppliers, implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance through data analysis and process improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for incoming material defects.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement to resolve quality concerns.
  • Maintain documentation, including inspection results, NCRs, CAPAs, SCARs, and supplier scorecards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including supplier audits and process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and customer-specific quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025).
  • Provide training and support to suppliers on quality expectations and best practices.
  • Be onsite at our Bellingham, MA

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to work directly with vendors to resolve quality issues.
  • Expertise in non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, and other problem-solving methods.
  • ISO 9001 Certified Auditor with experience in compliance and auditing.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with quality management software and reporting tools.
  • Local to Bellingham, MA
