Insurance Risk Assessor

This role is expected to be roughly 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise efficiently with insurance consultants and brokers to troubleshoot issues, answer queries and facilitate the insurance selection process.
• Ensure sound knowledge and updated understanding of Property & Casualty insurance coverages, General Liability and Workers' Compensation.
• Contribute to the consistent handling of Workers’ Compensation claims, reinforce OSHA reporting protocols and guarantee adherence to best practice procedures.
• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely completion of renewal applications to avoid errors and inconsistencies.
• Act as an internal consultant helping our team understand and meet our business needs pertaining to insurance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Insurance Generalist or a similar role in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance coverages, General Liability, and Workers' Compensation.
• Familiarity with research techniques, and the ability to answer complex business insurance questions.
• Thorough understanding of Workers' Compensation claims process and OSHA reporting protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable proficiency in identifying and solving errors in insurance application processes
