We are in search of a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in the legal sector, situated in Albany, New York. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with various administrative duties, including processing legal documents, communicating with clients, maintaining organized records, and managing calendars.

Responsibilities:
- Form corporations and LLC’s using client instructions and information, and file these documents with the Department of State.
- Handle requests for documents from the state for companies that have already been formed.
- Order copies of lost Certificates of Incorporation from the state.
- Process orders for "Good Standings" which are documents from the state that validate a company's existence and compliance.
- Support diverse projects for other employees.
- Carry out word processing, filing, and faxing duties.
- Respond to telephone calls and return voicemails.
- Receive and attend to visitors.
- Utilize proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems.
- Apply skills in internet research.
- Demonstrate knowledge of ordering office supplies and equipment.
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Candidates must possess skills in Administrative Assistance and Legal Assistance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidentiality and discretion are mandatory as this role deals with sensitive information.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Experience in managing and maintaining schedules and calendars in a detail oriented setting.
- Proven ability to manage high volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data entry and data management is preferred.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
