Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

This role will also involve overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensuring the financial aspects of the department are well-managed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the month end close process.
• Oversee and manage the Accounting Department, including 4-6 direct reports
• Conduct monthly analysis on budget variances and prepare financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation and creation of the annual budget and projections.
• Provide senior directors with necessary information and tools to manage the financial aspects of their departments.
• Monitor cash balances, wire transfer activity, and agency credit card usage.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit with external audit firm.
• Review and manage imports from multiple CRM systems and databases to ensure accuracy of data and successful import into accounting records.
• Oversee and mentor the accounting staff - hire, train, develop.
• Minimum 7 years of experience including several years with multiple direct reports
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and General Ledger accounting
• Proficiency managing multiple revenue streams, strong systems skills
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Forecasting
• Proven ability to manage the Month End Close tasks effectively
• Ability to generate Cash Flow Reports and perform Cash Flow Modeling
• Experience in Variance Analysis is a must
• Should possess excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Public Accounting background is desired
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
