Position Summary
We are opening in Arlington, MA in late spring and are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our summer programs. You will train and inspire our team of Code Senseis-our dynamic, energetic instructors, and work toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children.Administrative duties will include creating attendance lists and tracking enrollment paper work, drafting parent communications, monitoring health and safety, and maintaining supplies and materials. You must have an interest in technology and computer programming, but no formal experience is required.
We will train you with our proprietary curriculum that teaches programming through building and playing video games kids love.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the center between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Maintain a welcoming lobby and waiting area for families, and build relationships with parents and students.
- Work with Code Senseis to create daily plans for morning and afternoon STEM programs.
- Provide center tours while programs are ongoing
- Keep records of daily happenings and student progress including reports, photographs, and curriculum changes and updates.
- Build an exceptional team culture.
- Uphold Code Ninjas standards with respect to center cleanliness and operations.
- Solve problems quickly and creatively.
Skills and Experience Required:
You must have experience working with school age children and an enthusiasm for STEM education. Must demonstrate knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership. This role will include a training period beginning in April/May off-site in Arlington, and center hours when we open in June.You must be available to work 20-25 hours/week, Monday-Friday from June through September 5.
Preferred Education and Training:
- BA/BS degree or completion of significant coursework in education, computer science, psychology, business, or a related field.
- Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
