Job Description:
- 100% Remote

- Up to 20 hours per week
- $65 to $85 per hour based on experience
- 1099 Contractor
We help clients formulate and communicate their stories – from brand refreshes to videos to social to digital campaigns to everything in between – and you’ll be part of the team that makes those tactics tick.

To succeed, you’ll need to think strategically, partner with writers and strategists, and design with intelligence and style. We want art directors who don’t believe just visually but can also build strategic concepts based on insights and data and influence campaigns beyond how they look.
The Art Director ensures that clients’ desired messages and images are conveyed to consumers. Art directors are responsible for the overall visual aspects of an advertising or media campaign and coordinate the work of other artistic or design staff, such as graphic designers.
Responsibilities:
- Determine how best to represent a concept visually
- Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
- Develop the overall look or style of a digital layout for an advertising campaign
- Proficiency in preparing design files for digital and print media
- Proven ability to optimize artwork for different production formats and resolutions
- Manage graphic designers, set and exhibit designers, or other design staff and freelancers
- Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members
- Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience
- Experience with managing design files for seamless production across multiple platforms
- B2B Experience (Nice to have but not required)
- Agency Experience
- Excellent design skills
- Great aesthetic judgment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Animation and editing experience a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
